奎格认为法拉盛事件表明中国�”�府利�”�四川地震灾难打击异己，是完全不能接受的。
“中国�”�府在利�”�四川地震来压制�–们所谓的’敌人’。任何敢于在这个时候批评�–们的人，都被描述成叛国者。这完全是不能接受的。”

多伦多�”�持中国�’运会主席关卓中谈到，与中共纽约总领事�–动法拉盛事件类似，多伦多的中领馆多年来也利�”�亲共侨团�’当地华人社区，�”�至多伦多市�”�府�–�加压力。�–说：”多伦多市有一年想搞一个法轮大法日，宣布法轮大法日，也是受到中领馆的干扰。”

�–认为中国�”�府的这些行为是对�’主国家的严重�’战，美国�’�加拿大�”�府�”该提出抗议。

台湾副总统吕秀莲今天（19号）在卸任前一天，捐出�–�台币二十万元行�”�院�’灾专户，希望协助四川赈灾。她表示，尽管中共不�–�以飞弹威胁并在�–交上孤立台湾，但在大难来时，�”该�’挥”人饥己饥、人溺己溺”的人道精神，协助大陆�’灾与重建，两岸之间可以”一灾泯恩仇”。

台湾副总统吕秀莲19号上午在总统府召开记者会，以个人名义捐款�–�台币20万元给行�”�院�’灾专户，并�”�行�”�院秘书长陈景峻代表接受。吕秀莲表示，看到四川�’�”�这么大的灾难，感同身受。

吕秀莲表示：”尽管还是继续面对中国大陆的飞弹的威胁，�–交的羞辱跟孤立，但是在大难来临的时候，�’们看到的是�”��’�，�’们想到是人道，所以一�’可以泯恩仇，一灾更�”该泯掉台湾跟中国的恩仇。”

吕秀莲指出，�”�府推动二十亿元的赈灾计�’，有七亿元是�”�府动�”�第二预备�’，一亿元是�”�购稻米粮食，另�–十二亿元的缺口等待台湾各界共同响�”。

而对于台湾在九二一大地震，因为赈灾的管道与机制不灵活，导致很多流弊的情形，吕秀莲表示：”是不是有建立很好的捐款管道，尤其�’们这一次面对的是中国大陆，它基本上还是一个共产�”�权，�’们全台湾的爱心展现，希望这一次�”��”�府有公信力的单位也能够做一番整合，把所有台湾的爱心做最好的表现，不要有任何的失误。”

吕秀莲表示，尽管明天就是�–��”�府，但是�–��”�是延续的，希望�”��–��”�府统筹所有的力量，不要再认定�’间各个单位来募款而混淆大众的视听，也希望浴火重�”�的中国，以情义对待台湾，让未来两岸�’�平共存、�’助共荣。
