I always wondered why Barbra Streisand never
sang the “intro” in her recorded version of
“the shadow of your smile”. Guess she was
waiting for Johnny Mathis to record a
superb “intro”. It’s all a fantasy. I have
always imagined Barbra and Johnny singing
this great movie song together.
