Harlem Nocturne-Stephanie Wiesler
Boy From New York City-Susan Gerbensky

The third piece I performed for my college class.
“White Justice” from Medicine Show
Music by Bobby Nafarrete (the accompanist)
Lyrics by Brian Granger
The Narrator….TJ Wiesler
White Justice….Nathan Monks
Pronto….Naathan Phan
(If you’re wondering why you haven’t heard of “Medicine Show” before, that’s because it’s brand new, written by our accompanist and a friend of his. In short, Medicine Show is the most offensive, politically incorrect, irreverent one act musical you’ve ever seen. Think sketch comedy meets “The Producers” and “Avenue Q”…only with a cast of just three men.)
Filmed by Ryan Knight, again.
Enjoy!

This is the beginning part where Stasi Hauptmann Gerd Wiesler is interrogating a man accused of helping his neighbour escape to the West. This interrogation is juxtaposed with a lecture he was giving on interrogation at the Stasi college.
I have also uploaded the ending to this movie.

This is the part where Wiesler listens to Dreyman play Sonata for a good man (Sonate vom guten Menschen )and becomes moved by it.This is Wiesler’s turning point in the movie when he decides to be the “good man” so to speak. Afterwards he meets a boy in an elevator whose father view the Stasi as bad men. Wiesler does not ask for the name of the boy’s father. This is from the movie the lives of others ( Das Leben der Anderen ). This is my 2nd youtube upload, comments and feedback are welcome!

Axel Stiegler tells a joke about Erich Honecker with a surprising outcome!
